A secret weekend, a loved denied -- secrets of the heart are hard to bear alone.

Brian Tristan and Lexy Claremont parted by mutual agreement after a hot and heavy weekend neither would ever forget. An agreement each regretted the moment it was made. Imagine their shock when they learn they are still married, a revelation made on the heels of an announcement Lexy never wanted to hear, one that has both of them asking, "What about love?" and discovering someone else had a secret agenda of their own by keeping them apart.

WHAT THE REVIEWERS ARE SAYING

FIVE STARS! What About Love is the first book in The Heartbreakers series and it is an auspicious beginning. This modern day fairy tale never disappoints. The characters are extraordinary people whom the reader quickly comes to care about. Brian is even keeled and unspoiled. Lexy is caring and self-sacrificing. Things seem to fall together just a little too easily for our star-crossed family, but the reader accepts it readily because they are all so deserving and have been kept apart by another’s treachery and greed. While missing ten years of life with the people you love could never be called lucky, Mesquite would not be the success it is today if Brian had had other responsibilities to distract him. He is lucky to step into instant family life with practically no stumbling blocks to hinder his progress. Brother Paul, Cici the abandoned fiancé, Lexy’s ex-boyfriend and her boss are secondary characters who have a big role in moving the plot along smoothly with no lags in momentum. The sex between Brian and Lexy is as earth shaking and real as they both remembered. What About Love is a happily ever after, feel good kind of story that will leave you smiling. ~Karen Haas, Just Erotic Romance Reviews

FIVE BLUE RIBBONS! Caitlyn Willows really drew out all my emotional hotspots with WHAT ABOUT LOVE? In a matter of moments I was drawn into this storyline and found myself experiencing anger, hurt, tears, and even adoration right along with the characters. I’d love to say I want Brian for myself but he and Lexy are so perfect together that I couldn’t imagine even trying to tear this couple apart. This story is sexually charged and intense as well as endearing – all the things I’ve come to appreciate in Ms. Willows’s storylines. Ms. Willows does a beautiful job capturing the essence of this musical group as a whole but also allows readers to see each as very different individuals. Fortunately readers can get to meet each of the characters up close and personal through the other stories in the HEARTBREAKERS series. ~Chrissy Dionne, Romance Junkies

EXCERPT

…He tossed the phone to the bed and hot-footed it to his bathroom, unzipping and stripping as he walked. His dick felt desert-hot as he wrapped his fist around it. He remembered the tangle of white sheets, her silky hair shifting through his fingers, how damn tight and wet her pussy felt when he plunged into her. Brian had thought of her so many times over the years. How could anyone forget such a perfect weekend? If only they hadn’t been so impulsive. If only they’d been in different stages of their lives. Yeah…he’d thought about it a lot. Day and night, especially at night, when he was wrapped in the arms of a pale substitute for Lexy, lost in the fantasy it was her.

He shoved his trousers to his ankles and fondled his tight balls, while his other hand flashed over his cock. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d been this hard, this desperate to come. Through lids half-closed he watched pre-cum ooze from the tip. The image of full lips, a sensuous smile, and a talented tongue washed over him. Lexy could suck cock like nobody’s business, make him wait until he thought he’d die, then suck him dry until his balls collapsed.

Brian shot his load into the green towel dangling on the bar, then braced himself with one palm against the cool tile wall while he tried to catch his breath. Reporters and photographers were going to hound them no matter what. Maybe a phone call would settle everything without them ever seeing each other, but it felt like the coward’s way out. He’d man-up and go to her, make it all right, and explain to her husband or boyfriend—a woman like Lexy Claremont would have been snagged long ago. And at that moment Brian regretted again that man wasn’t him.

Lexy was his favorite mistake, but the mistake hadn’t been in marrying her. The mistake had been letting her slip away…
